Idaho Medigap Birthday Rule (Idaho Code §41-4616A)
Idaho law gives current Medicare Supplement policyholders an annual no-underwriting open enrollment window around their birthday:
- Window: 63-day window starting on the policyholder\'s birthday.
- Eligibility: no age cap; you must already have a Medigap policy in force.
- Allowed switch: you can switch to the same lettered plan or a plan with lesser benefits with any Idaho-licensed Medigap insurer, without medical underwriting.
